The maternal characters she portrayed astonished the audience with their simplicity, humility, kindness, caring nature, sincerity, and charm. When she performed the role of a mother on stage, the audience felt as if it were not Zamira Hidoyatova standing there, but the very image of a typical, sincere Uzbek mother.

One of the devoted figures of the Uzbek theater, the renowned actress Zamira Hidoyatova, was born in Tashkent in 1909. After studying at the Moscow Uzbek Drama Studio from 1924 to 1927 and learning the subtle nuances of art, she worked as a leading actress in the «Ishchi sayyor» (Worker's Traveler) troupe from 1927, and from 1932 until the 1980s, she performed at the Hamza Uzbek State Academic Drama Theater.

Having become acquainted with the theater arts in the 1930s, Zamira Hidoyatova made a worthy contribution to the development of Uzbek theatrical art over more than half a century by creating over a hundred lifelike, natural, and unique characters. Characters with varied and diverse personalities, etched into the minds of her fans, such as Lady Milford in F. Schiller's «Intrigue and Love», Kabanikha in A. Ostrovsky's «The Storm», Gulsum in Oybek's «Sacred Blood», and Hamrobibi in Abdulla Qahhor's «Shohi so‘zana», were the result of the actress's many years of creative work and exploration.

In the Uzbek theater, it is certainly difficult to find an actress equal to Zamira Hidoyatova in portraying the image of a mother. The mothers she created astonish the audience with their simplicity, humility, kindness, caring nature, sincerity, and charm. When she performed the role of a mother on stage, the audience felt as if it were not Zamira Hidoyatova standing there, but the very image of a typical, sincere Uzbek mother.

Every spectator watching the play would involuntarily think, «If only all mothers were as caring and kind as this.» The roles of Hoji Ona in Hamza's drama «The Rich and the Servant», Khosiyat in the work «Hamza» by K. Yashin and A. Umariy, and Risolat in Izzat Sulton's drama «Imon» (Faith) are typical examples of mothers with different worldviews, characters, and appearances.

However, the actress was able to show a common thread in all of them - the pure and great care mothers have for their children, their mountain-like kindness, and their broad-heartedness in a very convincing, realistic way. The actress's great mastery and her unique, individual, and inimitable characteristics are, first and foremost, defined and valued by these qualities.

The dedicated work and meaningful, exemplary creative career of the masterful artist Zamira Hidoyatova were duly rewarded in 1944 with the honorary title of «People's Artist of Uzbekistan».
